Started her career with golf in the age of 9, when she turned 10, she entered Sakata Juku, a well known junior golf school in Kumamoto prefecture where many pro golfers were produced. In her junior golf stage, she competed with Ai Miyazato and Sakura Yokomine.

In 2005, she passed the Pro Golfer test and in the following qualifying tournament, she finished with successful 2nd place and earned her exemption of tour 2006. Finished her 2006 tour with 13th place in the money ranking and also earned her full ride to the next year's tour.

In April 2007, she won her first tour event Life Card Ladies which was held in her home prefecture Kumamoto. Not only her break through win, she won 4 more events in that year and became the youngest Money Ranking Queen in the history.

Momoko took her career to another step as an international player and competed in both Japan and U.S. LPGA. In her debut U.S. tour event SBS OPENAT TURTLE BAY, she finished in 5th place but an exciting battle was seen with the former U.S. money ranking queen, Annika Sorenstam.

After challenging in the U.S. tour for 6 consecutive years, she put an end to her challenge for now and decided to focus the year 2014 in Japan tour only.

With all the skills and experiences she gained over the years, we sure can expect a great impact and excitement in Japan tour.
